Pacific time zone

Traveling for a few days yall. Got to head back to Barstow to tie a few knots and blow a few holes in the wall with buck shot. Not taking a lappy. But while I am gone, chew on these:

  • Arena football cancels 2009 season: The crumbling economy has finally gotten to semi-real sports that almost no one cares about it. Will this be another NHL strike where most people do not realize it is gone? Probably. This means no Grand Rapids Rampage and no Rampage Girls for at least a year. The games were fun, but I would never pay to see one.
  • Hoekstra to retire from House, eyes Mich. governor seat: When billionaire and soap man Dick DeVos bowed out of the 2010 governor race, it got a whole lot less interesting. Now Hoekstra, a highly respected congressman from the West side, has said enough to Washington and hinted at taking on Lansing. If elected, Hoekstra will likely be the governor of a state where no one has a job or a car the works.
  • No "Stan 2" song on new Eminem record: Detroit trailer park nuisance Eminem cleared up rumors about a collaboration with Swizz on his new record "Relapse."
"There isn't a 'Stan 2,' and there won't be," he says. "Stan drove his car off a bridge and I'm not writing a song as Stan's ghost. That would just be really corny."
I wonder if Dido will make an appearance on the new album

Who knew this was a drama? So taken in.
